About the Webmaster

Welcome and good day to you weary websurfer. If you have gotten this far then you probably saw the gamecube menu, pretty cool huh? This whole website has been an interesting endeavor to create. It was always an idea in the back of my head to create my own little corner of internet but just something i couldn't feasibly imagine up until now. I hope you have enjoyed your stay so far. Pictured on the left is myself in the most unflattering image i could find as to stop all the ladies from filling up my inbox. As far as describing myself it's a hard task. I've always had an inate urge to create and design things. It's one of the few things that gives my life purpose. Whether it's messing around in Logic X or making a stupid video of me and my friends it's something that gives me fulfillment and keeps me one extra step away from an existential crisis. I was put on this Earth to create and invent. My dream is to make something that brings great enjoyment to a mass audience. I don't want fame. I just want to make some sort of impact on the world.

Something that has always kept me going is Music. I found sport excrutiatingly boring at a young age so I started playing guitar instead. 12 years later and I'm able to play crazy fingerstyle compositions from the likes of Chet Atkins and Kent Nishimura Nowadays I put my passion for guitar into my solo music project "Norfolk Pine" which you can find here. I'm open to most music but I've always steered towards music that is complex in someway. Whether is simple in it's complexity or complex in it's simplicity It's always struck a chord with me. Because of this my main favourite genres are Math Rock and Folk Indie, amongst many others. Without a doubt my favourite band of all time is Feed Me Jack. I've never skipped a song across their whole discography and I think that has to do with how vibrant and beautiful the chord progression and melodies are. Their lyrics are always so well written and downright poetic at best. Especially songs like Audio Pono. My favourite album throughout their discography has to be Anatolia. The way each song bleeds into another and creates an emotional roller coaster of sound is something that has stayed with me since the first time i listened to it.

The only thing that has lasted longer than my love of music is my love for video games. Like many kids I was gifted a Nintendo Wii with Wii Sports on it and from then on my life changed indefinitely. One day my Dad brought home Super Mario Galaxy 2 which cememented my love for Mario games and nintendo games as a whole. Watching Chuggaconroys playthroughs of Pikmin 2 and Mario Sunshine got me further enthralled and are now my most favourite games of all time. And of course how could I forget Minecraft. I grew up as a Stampy and Iballisticsquid kid, soaking in everything they made in like a sponge. It truly is a shame that kids won't ever get to experience the golden age of Minecraft like we did. That is something I wouldn't give up for the world. At the age of 10 I got my first gaming laptop (which in hindsight was an incredibly stupid decission but I was a kid lol) I originally got it to play subnautica but little did I know it would open up the world of PC gaming to me. Team Fortress 2 was the game the cemented my love for PC gaming. I truly believe there will never be another fps game that has the level of charm, intricacy, and depth as TF2. You could ask me any question about this stupid 17 year old boomer shooter and I could answer in a heartbeat. I run an Australian based casual TF2 server that you can find here if you're interested.

I've always loved tinkering with electronics and anything I could get my hands on as a kid. All of my game consoles have been opened up, jailbroken, modded, etc. I love to customize and personalise anything I own. This website has been a very good outlet for that as the possibilities are endless. This love of tinkering is what fueled my love for engineering, and now I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at UTS.

Other interests of mine include: Entomology, 2000s tech, dangerous levels of youtube consumption, old European architecture, mechanical/mecatronic machinery, tanks, weird old video games like L.S.D dream emulator, absolutely stomping TF2 pubs, mid 2000s lego, browsing /vg/ for more time than i should, Vermis, Dr Grordbort, Star Wars, regretful steam purchases, consuming near lethal amounts of alcohol.

If you have read this far then I coudn't thank you enough for stopping by and exploring my corner of the internet. To show you're a true fan put ":D" at the end of your message in the guestbook lol.
